Kossuth Hall – Hungarian Canadian Club
It’s been over fifty years that the Hungarian Canadian Club of Waterloo-Wellington also known as Kossuth Hall was established. The Canadian Club serves as the center of the Hungarian community in the Cambridge-Guelph-Kitchener-Waterloo area and offers programs and events with a Hungarian flavour.
The Kossuth Hall is site of our historical commemorations, seasonal balls featuring Hungarian cuisine, and theatrical and musical productions that frequently feature guest performers from Hungary. Preserving cultural traditions, such as sausage making in wintertime or decorating Easter eggs in springtime, is an important goal amongst members. The aim of these events is to introduce Hungarian culture to the future generations who were raised or born in Canada.
