Black Forest Cake originally made in the Black Forest region of Germany, Europe. The Black Forest Cake, also called “Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte” , “Black Forest Gâteauor”, or “Black Forest Cherry-torte”, which is made with a denser chocolate sponge cake layers soaked with cherry syrup and cherry brandy (or rum), then layered with whipped cream and cherries, and on top decorated with whipped cream cherries and Belgian dark chocolate.

Our Black Forest Cake is made with sour cherry which gives the cake a tastier flavor.

We can make this cake with

  • chocolate drizzle on the top,
  • or crushed thin chocolate sheets on the side,
  • or sprinkled with grated chocolate.
