Our Story

Welcome to Andrea’s Artisan Chocolates

Our story began about 15 years ago when my husband and I – despite living on different continents, met through our shared passion for photography. At that time he was already living in Canada, while I was I was working as an IT engineer (Military Information Technology Manager) for the Hungarian Defense Forces in Europe. Now as a veteran, after 25 years of service, I’m here, living my hobby, “to serve” the sweet teeth of Canada.

Although my professional life was in information technology, I’ve always had a deep love for the creative arts, especially cooking and baking, which has been a lifelong passion. This unique blend of technology and creativity has allowed me to design websites to showcase my culinary creations. It all begins with my special hobby of making chocolate desserts in 2013, learning from the best at the Szamos Marzipan Chocolate School in Hungary. Over the years, my chocolates found their way to local Christmas fairs through social media platforms, delighting friends and family as well.

Birth of Our Business

When I moved to Canada my focus shifted to creating healthy (keto, low-carb, gluten- and sugar-free) meals and desserts in our kitchen. These recipes eventually found their way to my “Andrea’s Keto World” website. We shared our homemade guilt-free cookies and chocolates with friends and neighbors during special occasions. When one of them wanted to order a few boxes of chocolates, my husband suggested: ‘Let’s make chocolates for everyone!’ This is how Andrea’s Artisan Chocolates, our small business was born, and we form a fantastic team of two, bringing my culinary creations to life.

New Opportunities

Although Andrea’s Artisan Chocolate started as a chocolate-making small business at the foundation time, but due to the interest, we have expanded our offer, so we also make homemade cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, puffpastries, Ecklers, etc, to order.
Our offers also includes “Guilt-free Cakes”, such as gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free or completely Keto, Paleo versions on request.
From this moment we renamed our business to Andrea’s Artisan Chocolates & Cakes.

Our Creed

While advocating the reduction of excessive carbohydrate consumption, we believe that a small indulgence with high-quality chocolates or guilt-free desserts can add more happiness to everyday life.

Now, we’re so excited to share our artisan chocolates and baking stuff with more and more people in Canada.
